We skied the outbound Orange, JGG Freeway and English River return yesterday. Orange had not been recently groomed so was a bit of a slog. At about the 3km mark we came across open water at the bottom of the 90 degree downhill (you will know what I mean if you’ve skied it). As it was very cold the slush immediately iced up on our skis. The trail is now closed until further notice as this is a very dangerous spot to have ice and slush. The other trails were nicely set (still a bit of exposed granite in spots), but very pleasant skiing.
