We were at Chickadee lot this morning. The ‘no walking on ski trail’ signage is up; along with the names of the walking trails, with a map so walkers can locate trails. AND… they were being used! Chatted with a family, and saw another group, who set out walk from the lot, saw the signs, checked the map and left. Thank you park staff!
Classic trails were surprisingly good with the bit of snow last week. Friday’s wind blew LOTS of poplar leaves on tracks in many places… expect sudden stops with high risk of face-plants.
