Sandilands, Red & Grey & south Green & Black. -4° to 0°. Lots of skiers. A very good day of skiing for the 5 of us. The “snow grabber” grooming results in an elevated track, which initially feels a bit weird, but it certainly creates very good tracks from not much snow.
Floyd skied Red a couple hours after us. He told me he encountered two walkers who were putting holes in the perfect tracks. We had seen two snowshoers and four walkers on Red in the morning, but all six were consciously staying to the side of the trail.
