Classic trails (Esker, Lime Kiln, Chickadee, Aspen), Wednesday 11:15 to 1:30, -5° to -3° and bright sun.
All classic tracks are still fairly well-defined, but they are widening. I encountered two bare spots of less than 1 metre long and only one track wide — on Lime Kiln and on Aspen. For the first hour, the tracks were ice/icy and of course extremely fast. By 1:30 (-3°) and a few hours of bright sun, the tracks were moist (if not wet) in many places, but still generally quite fast.
I saw a few people skating on the Group Use Road at 12:30; they appeared to be in control and gliding well.
