From David Lumgair on Monday morning:
Good morning ccski folks,
Looks like minus temperature weather over night for this week.
Trails will be fast .
As you know, if it melted the day before, then the glaze of yesterday, on classics, would be very fast.
And If folks were going to come, I would groom when the track snow is frozen in the morning.
Frozen trails groomed an hour or so before skiing , will be the best it can be.
Past experience suggests that i can groom for an hour or 2 after the temp gets to +2.
And folks can ski for a couple of hours after that, when temp continues to rise.
And if it is cloudy add a couple more hours of ski time.
The 76″ skimmer on the Ginzu groomer will:
“bust the crust” , “slice the ice”, “craze the glaze” and “shift the drift”!
So, I am off to groom the Blue Classic trail!
