Trails groomed again this morning, April 8. South-exposed slopes (Black Diamond, Creekside, Foxhole) are icy. otherwise conditions are remaining excellent for spring skiing.

Awesome ski in Windsor Park today, early afternoon, with my skin skis. Much appreciate the post-storm grooming!❄️

The weather looks favourable for ccskiing.
The snow is fresh and fully firmed up.
Orange and Green Skate trails are groomed.
Yellow and Blue Classic Trails are groomed.

Thursday afternoon, -4° to -2°, sunny. Skate. A fair number of skiers, both classic and skate. Very good grooming, but the track ranged from very soft to moderately soft, which of course resulted in some loss of push power and also glide. I sure like skiing in these temperatures … on good snow … and in April.

Basically 0 conditions in the afternoon . Tried some different waxes but nothing really worked well . Finally went with Swix for dry snow and that worked out ok with skate poles for icy places . Suns rays are beating down in sunny areas and eroding the trails and in shaded areas trails are dry still. Probably best to go after sunset and colder…[Read more]

The trails looked like they were groomed Saturday night and possibly Sunday morning and are in very good shape. There is lots of snow and it is cold. It was not getting soft when I left at 2:00 with temps at -2. Should be good for the next couple of days at the very least.

Fresh Grooming is underway as of 8AM Sunday. Trails are expected to be fully groomed by 10AM today.

Trails have been renovated each day this week. Todays conditions art he best yet! Groomers have been working magic with the old and hard snow conditions. Cassic tracks and skate lanes are in excellent condition. Come and have a wonderful, fast ski!

3 groups of people walking on ski trails in WP this aft… 2 families pulling their clhild in a sled while walking on the classic trails… a man and woman came up from seine river and proceeded to walk all along the blue loop then most likely into graveyard loop…
