Activity

It was a clear, crisp day when 5 Charleswood Ski Club Members arrived at Shannondale to temps ranging from -18C to -16C. The cold was never an issue as we were very sheltered in the valley so very little wind. We were greeted by David, as usual, always a pleasure to have a chat with. David and “Groomer” Gord are magicians who make trails that are near perfection and safe to ski on. The hills were so much fun that some of us repeated them four times. There is a sign up sheet at the trailhead but no lock box for donations. We gave ours to David and he said some skiers are leaving theirs by the sign up sheet. Sad to leave but were once again fortunate to have David see us off, after a small discussion, of course.
