So, will this be the earliest start ever, beating the Nov11/12 start?
If the thermometer stays as forecast a historical event may occur.
Pascal Gariepy skied on Friday and posted it on the A Cross Country Ski Club Facebook group: “Beaudry Park this morning, I had to do it, first one out skiing but very clumpy so skied only 4 km, walked the rest”.
Today’s much colder temp may make it work. Rock skis mandatory.
I skied on October 29th in 2003. Perhaps I’ll beat my personal record today.
