Activity

So, me and the G-man started today at 9:30 Apr 12 at the stables parking lot. Skied east Bluestem to the lookout, Chick loop,and Esk back to the parking lot. The ski track was very melted and shrunken, with the base of the track collapsing under my skis from time to time. I had decent luck keeping one ski in a track and placing the other immediately outside the track on the firm edge of the trail. Decent snow coverage throughout with some melting/slushy areas, resulting in G-man getting 2 booters.
Met 2 other skiers who did the west Blustm and reported ok conditions with only 1 booter incident. Enough snow to ski more
but the warm conditions are resulting in rapid deterioration of conditions.
