Skate skied the Lake circle yesterday, but it was slow going. I thought you could stay on top due to the melt, but you do sink. Two snowmobile tracks would be sufficient grooming, but they would have to be beside each other. It took an hour and a half instead of 45 minutes to do the 5 Km. Recommend parking by Stride so you start and end there rather than climbing over the bridge and putting on the skis again. Safety. Don’t ski alone or bring a cell phone.
