Jan 29/23 trail update – trails were packed and tracked yesterday. The sun is shining and there is very little wind on the trails, even in this cold snap, it is excellent skiing.

We skied La Perdrix trails today for the first time. Heavy hoar frost made the woods a winter wonderland, and added an inch or two of soft fresh hoar-snow to be skied-in on the classic tracks. Dec 26, 2022 trail update – It is a beautiful winter wonderland out there! Trails were packed and tracked to day. Snowshoe trails are deep with a lot of snow.

Dec 18, 2022 trail update – Excellent skiing and snowshoeing conditions. Trails were packed and tracked yesterday after several days of fresh snow falling out here in Notre Dame.

Saturday Dec 3 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm is our free hotdog / hot chocolate day. Instructions available on how to select and wax skis. Bonfire will be at the chalet (enclosed but not heated), at the junction of La Perdrix and Renard Rouge trails, just a short walk/ski/snowshoe into the bush. Dress for the weather.

Nov 22, 2022 – Snowshoe trails are in excellent condition with enough snow. Ski trails were packed and tracked on Saturday Nov 19, 2022. Trails are skiable but there is a considerable amount of small twigs sticking up. Field portion has canola stubble sticking out. Recommend using “rock” skis at this early stage of the ski season.

April 2, 2022 – Trail up, all the trails are still snow covered. Skiing is still possible when below freezing, there are indentations in the snow where the ski trails are. We are having a full moon ski and snowshoe event on Friday March 18 at 7:45 pm. Meet at the trail head. Moon rises at 8:16 pm. Trails were groomed Monday Feb 21, 2022 and are in great condition.

Trails packed and tracked on Sunday Jan 30, 2022. Good skiing conditions with a bit more rolling terrain than usual due to the amount of snow.

Trails are in good condition. Last groomed Wednesday Jan 26, 2022.

Jan 22, 2022 – Trails have been packed and re-tracked. South side is a slightly rolling with a steep transition to the inner Grosbec loop. North side is smoother skiing.

Jan 22, 2022 trail update – This week’s snow and strong South winds have blown in many of the trails. Most trails are currently not skiable. But excellent for snowshoers! Vic will be out packing and tracking the trails this afternoon. Expect groomed trails for late afternoon or early evening today.

Jan 16, 2022 trail update – The portion of the trail that had blown in with yesterday’s strong South winds was packed and re-tracked today. We have a full moon night ski and snowshoe on Monday Jan 17th. Meet at the trailhead for 7:00pm.
