3-6:30 PM Fantastic afternoon in BHP . The trails are in good shape, slightly glazed ,icy in most sunny areas, but the suns rays havent done much damage yet. The cool weather is offsetting the usual erosion and soft trails at this time of year. Purple wax gave good grip , alternated with double poling in iced over areas. West Bluestem is great, hardly touched by temps or suns rays. Aspen is fairly icy in places as is Chickadee. I wanted to do Lime Kiln but ran out of energy. Lime Kiln would be like Bluestem. If cool temps last, it will make for a few more days of excellent skiing. You are missing the best conditions of the year if you dont go . Skate track is in excellent shape also.
