Thursday at noonish we skied Lime Kiln. It was similar to spring conditions, with thin sections from yesterday’s melt. It was icy, firm and fast; but skiable if you don’t mind hopping out of the tracks often to avoid debris, grass, rocks and churned up mud. The worst parts were nearer the stables, the optional loop, and just past the shack. We also noticed an open area on the return where snowmobiles had crossed. Still had fun, but we didn’t feel safe attempting any big hills. We need more snow, please!
