Windsor Park Nordic Centre is maintained and operated by the Cross Country Ski Association of Manitoba (CCSAM). The Windsor Park Golf course and clubhouse, located at 10 rue Des Meurons in St. Vital, becomes a nordic ski facility from Dec to Mar each year.
Trails are groomed regularly, usually in the mornings, sometimes daily. Unless conditions dictate otherwise.
Please allow several hours after a significant snowfall for trails to be groomed and the tracks to “set up”. Expect trails to close temporarily while grooming is in process.
CLUBHOUSE IS CLOSED during Code Red. Please find out more about our Covid Scenario Plan on our website: http://windsorparknordic.ca/covid-19
Please maintain a 2 m distance between yourself and others at all times – on trail and in the parking lot. Everyone must follow current public health guidelines: https://www.gov.mb.ca/covid19/restartmb/prs/index.html.

Skate on Sat and Sun.. awesome conditions! A few thin spots but easily avoidable. Surprised how well its held up through the warm snap and lack of snow.

A little bit of snow is better than nothing at all! Trails groomed this morning. Everything in great shape. We plan to organize a snow shovelling party this weekend to patch up some thin spots that need TLC.

Trails are holding up amazingly well considering the warms temps and lack of new snow! Ski conditions are excellent. Hopefully more snow is in our immediate future.
Thanks to St. Vital Councillor Brian Mayes, two heated portable toilets are now installed in the parking lot next to the garage. Happy skiing everyone! -

Good evening,
To the person who found a black and blue Quad-Lock cellphone clip tonight Jan 10th, 2021. I lost it well skiing the green trail with the wife. my contact phone is 204-298-1425.
A lady asked my wife who was behind me on the trail, but she wasn’t sure if i had lost it.

We had a very nice classic ski on all of the “blue” trails today. Grateful for the lack of sun as the thin spots are noticeably darker and the next sunny day will take its toll.
Fingers crossed for snow on Wed/Thu! -

Both skate and classic tracks are still in great shape everyone. Fast and not icy. We’re sorry for the darkness crossing the stone bridge up until now. Someone forgot to turn those lights on. We’re not naming names. The future looks bright!

Had a fantastic skate ski late today on the Blue trail just before Jim finished his work “scratching” up the trail. Perfect conditions which I was not expecting given the warm weekend! All the classic tracks I saw looked to be in excellent shape too.

There’s not much we can do now until more snow falls. Jim has refreshed the skate trails this afternoon and will do so again on Thursday.

Trails were fast today and a bit icy. I don’t know if there is enough snow to groom.

Found a pair of mirrored aviator sunglasses on Brent’s loop. They’re now hanging on the fence by the entrance.

Classic ski green trail this late morning: trail is a bit broken with some bare patches under the trees with grass showing.
Windsor Park nordic center: is it possible to post signs about one way trails? People seem to go all over the place without direction. Or is this ok? Just annoying to get off the track… Thanks -

9AM skate ski in WP this morning. Good conditions, a little slow for a skate this morning maybe due to the light snow last night but should be good by now with the amount of people I saw coming in to the parking lot when I finished. Great job to the WP staff as the trails look great! Fun outing.

I had a great classic ski today! Tracks are holding up well everywhere. We really can use some more snow. Get out in these amazing conditions if you can!

Also skated Windsor Saturday and Sunday! Agree with Chris’ comments. The recent snow(not very much) was indeed a help in allowing Jim to groom the skate paths more easily as showed early Saturday morning! Lots of fun skiing here this weekend.
