    It was a clear, crisp day when 5 Charleswood Ski Club Members arrived at Shannondale to temps ranging from -18C to -16C.     A friend talked to “Gord the Groomer” on Friday evening at 8:00 PM:

    The snow at Shannondale yesterday was even nicer than last weekend – tracks were firm but hills were almost butter in places. Had another great ski around all the open classic trails, but the skate grooming looked excellent too. Finally tracked down Dave hand off our donation in person and got the full update on life, the universe and everything.

    Had a great ski at Shannondale on Sunday. Even though the blue trail (a fave) is not fully open yet, there are lots of km of trails ready to ski — I had forgotten there were so many.

    There has been sufficient snow for Ranger Gord to make good skate and classic trails. 
    More than 20 folks have been skiing here. 
    The temp and sun have made the trails fast . 
    When skiing here, limit your skiing to this first 80 acres, sawhorses blocks are at the limit.
