In January 2015 the Sandilands Ski Club started grooming trails at Quarry Oaks Golf Course, which is located 11 km / 15 minutes NE of Steinbach, just south of PR 311. Map.
The trails go through a varied landscape of gentle hills, wetlands and aspen woods, and some open areas along fairways.
Four main trail loops head out in all directions from the parking area: 3.5K of classic/skate trails, 4K of classic-only trails, and a .7K skate-only trail (as of January 2016).

A $5 trail fee must be paid at the desk / drop box next to a small hut, which is not open in the winter. It’s located southeast of the main building.
