The Pumpkin Creek Ski Club trailhead / parking lot / shelter building is located ~4 km west of Roseisle on the Valley Road (~5K north of the Birch Ski Area) . After turning south (left) off PTH 245 onto the road that leads to the Birch Ski Area, turn west (right) at the first road (at the Pumpkin Creek sign). Go 2.5 km to the Pumpkin Creek trailhead / parking lot that is well signed and on the right (north) side of the road.
There is a lovely shelter building with outhouse facilities near the trailhead where you can stash your gear, eat your lunch, and warm up with a wood stove.
There are 20K of well-groomed classic trails along the scenic creek and through hilly terrain, with shorter and longer loop options. Easy and intermediate alternatives.
No dogs allowed on the trails.
Daily trail fees: $5 per person or $10 per family and/or donations are accepted at the clubhouse.

RENTAL SKIS: 35 pairs of waxless skis w/ 40 pairs of boots w/ children, women and men’s sizes avail for $5 per use for non-members. Free usage of equipment for members. First-come-first-serve basis.

Sunday afternoon 120+ smiling people were out enjoying the sunshine at Pumpkin Creek’s Mystery Tour. The grooming was pristine, and conditions were ideal…really enjoyed the fun Mystery Trail. Many thanks to all the nice folks that put together this great event – it was a perfect ski day!
As strange as this may seem seeing today is such a beautiful day, but due to tomorrow’s forecast, we are postponing the Mystery Tour to two weeks from now on Sunday March 10th!

Skied Pumpkin Creek yesterday and appreciated the great fresh grooming. Deep crisp tracks, lots of glide. Yesterday Tuesday Feb 5th with all this new snow, Don packed the whole trail system. He was able to groom Blue Moon to Leary’s, Stroll and Easy Street so those are ready to ski. Aurel cleared the parking lot.
Don will finish grooming the rest of the trail system on Thursday Feb 7th.
