From Danielle Dumesnil on Monday evening:
The rain today melted away the snow. Time to hang up our skis. It has been a great year. See you next year.

Lots of snow in the valley.
I had my first trip ever to Pumpkin Creek and it was excellent. I went on Easy Street followed by most of Roger’s Pass and finished up Stroll. It was a lot of fun and great weather.
Pumpkin Creek was a very popular place yesterday! The parking lot was nearly full of skiers taking advantage of the warm weather and the lack of weekend snow. It was gorgeous day.
We skied the full Blue Moon plus Stroll and Easy Street. Were hoping to finally hit the Club Trail but alas, it was ungroomed. The back end of Club had been recently…[Read more]

The decision has been made to cancel the Mystery Tour for this year and let the Covid surge dissipate. Mystery Tour is about a packed clubhouse full of friends laughing and eating, re-connecting. It may still be a little too early for that.
Therefore, we are going to be grateful for what we have this year and enjoy…[Read more]

Trails were re-groomed early Saturday morning Jan 8th.
Came back today for another Birchkin Pumpski — this time with my partner in tow. Started at the Pumpkin Creek end, just to mix things up.
Both halves had been regroomed this morning after the fresh snow, hooray, so conditions were much the same as yesterday… except warmer! Only a very few spots with drifting, and these were well-skied. Most of…[Read more]

Be good to yourself, to each other and to Pumpkin Creek!
On Sunday there were high winds and blowing snow in Winnipeg, but in the valley at Pumpkin Creek, the conditions were ideal. The wind was minimal, the snow was good and the trails were sheltered and in very good condition. We skied the Blue Moon in the morning and the other trails in the afternoon. Well worth the trip.
