    3 classic trails are now skiable. The park , the north lake trail and the south lake trail. The best tracks are in the park followed by the north and then the south. Skiers are invited to ski the entire loop of 10k before the wind blows it in. Stay on the track to avoid slush.- Gary Wickens

    As of Dec. 1 there’s 1 groomed classic trail in the Cranberry Portage Park. 0.9 km with 2 gentle slopes suitable for lap skiing and/or training. 20 cm. of snow on the ground.     Comment: Unbelievable lack of snow [only 10 cm] in Cranberry Portage this winter. Making do with groomed trails in the park and on the lake , both north and south side of Athapap. No hills but lots of pleasurable skiing in scenic surroundings. Both classic and skate lanes available on the North Lake trail.- Gary Wickens
