    Late season kudos to the Gimli XC Ski Club! Wasn’t really planning to ski today, but on our way home from Hecla, we pulled in to take a peak at the W side trails, never been there before – stove was on, cabin was neat, maps were there, the tracks were fresh & perfect, -3 and big flakes falling, so we couldn’t resist!!   • Skied East side Birch Trail and Steeple View Trail – seems groomed and nice skier tracking – little rough on short Birch section by Hwy – nice 5 km workout.

    No trails groomed yet at the CampMorton Trails.
    Gimli Ski Club is working to get rid of the remaining grass in the JackRabbits training area & also waiting on more snow to pack the base on east and west side trails. We will update skitrail conditions in a couple weeks.
