Trails are maintained by volunteers. There are fat bike / snowshoe / winter hiking trails as well as cross country ski trails (classic only). Please respect the intended purpose for each trail.
Directions:
From Brandon, go south on 18th Street / Highway 10.
About 6.7K from the last set of traffic lights at the end of the city, you will see a sign for the ski area.
Turn left on High Country Road and proceed east about 3K.
When you see the sign for the Brandon Hills WMA, turn right.
The parking area is to your left at the top of the hill.

trails were groomed again today. if you encounter hikers walking directly on the ski tracks please speak up and let them know they shouldn’t walk on them. have fun everybody.

sorry everyone but wasn’t able to groom this week and with more snow coming Saturday wont be grooming till next week. hopefully there enough fresh snow to set a good track.

Tried to groom yesterday but do to the recent weather I was not able to set a good track. the trails are hard as a rock and I couldn’t penetrate the snow. I did manage to smooth out the trails. hopefully with a bit of snow coming I can set track again early next week. if anybody happens to have some old barbell weights they don’t use I could use a…[Read more]

Thought we might be in for some sketchy conditions as we drove up to the Brandon Hills today: nearby roads and fields were heavily iced up after the freezing rain. But trails were safe, with some new snow over hard pack.
