Classic skied starting at the farmhouse on Omega to Archie’s Swamp, Deep Woods, down Coyote to Cranberry, back up to Cottonwood, Red Hill and back to Archies and Omega avoiding the big wind. The grooming was perfect, the hills safe, and 10.5 km. a little more than an hour and a half. Yesterday, we did most of the other classic trails which were…[Read more]

I enjoyed skating the world cup trail yesterday, good firm base but a little drifting at some edges. They will be perfect tomorrow after a grooming. I didn’t ski the classic trails but they were groomed while I was out there and they looked perfect.

Very Good conditions today at Bittersweet on all the trails. Classic tracks were recently tracked and in nice shape with the odd area that had blow in. Skate tracks were also groomed recently and in excellent shape. Another great day classic and skate skiing the hills at Bittersweet .

Skied most of the trails east of the clubhouse, and all were in excellent condition as KatG posted below. Here are the new trails for those who want to know. Hartley’s Hills leaves from White’s way as you make the climb up toward Pine Hill. The trail is two way. There are extremely beautiful views in all directions as you can see the Ski Hut…[Read more]

    • Just want to add to Dale’s report in that I found all the grooming on the hills to be be straight and true making them as safe as can be!

Had a wonderful ski at Bittersweet today, it never disappoints and is truly some of the best skiing in MB. Classic trails were nicely groomed and skate trails were fresh, unskied corduroy. Hills were amazing. Lookouts were so beautiful. New singage is incredible! Icing on the cake was having a lovely chat with Ardythe when she came to scoop out…[Read more]

On December 28, skied the SW corner of the Bittersweet trails. We were delighted with the fresh grooming- the new snow was a bit slow. New signage is great! Superb day. Thank you!

From Andy Dwilow on Sunday afternoon:
Classic skied Bittersweet on good skis today. The tracks on the “relative” flats were fabulous. Steep downhills were very difficult (side stepped down several) since still a lot of undulations and off cambers. Skate trail looked real soft and unskied with only a preliminary roll. Go for the classic, stay awa…[Read more]

Skate trails are packed but await a final grooming touch – I can’t wait. I classic skied the Farm trail, Whites way, Cottonwood, all were great. There is amazing grooming talent at work here. I will be back soon.

Fresh clean cold ample snow awaits you at Bittersweet. Awesome skiing. Most trails are in very good condition with only leaves in a few places. The track is wavy and shallow in spots so use extreme caution when descending hills.

Glorious powder at Bittersweet today! I skied North Star, Blue’s, Cottonwood, Oak Ridge, Crossover, the Ski Hut Trail, Blue Jay Hill, and return. The folks had obviously worked hard to groom their usual impeccable deep classic tracks, only to receive a big dump of fresh snow. The tracks were still there though, nice and firm and just barely v…[Read more]
