Assiniboine Park Conservancy — Winter Activities
On their trails map, blue/yellow/red are ski trails and green are walking/biking trails. The website page says: “trails are typically groomed twice a week as weather permits”. Some skiers have found grooming to be sporadic and unreliable, and sometimes the trails are unusable.

A post on the A Cross Country Ski Club Facebook group says:
Skied Assiniboine Park on Sunday. Bumped into the trail setter which was cool and from what I could see I was the first person to use. Guess it pays to ski when it’s -40;)

There are groomed classic and skate trails in the field between the footbridge and Pavilion. Park off the drive near the footbridge and trudge south about 25 feet through foot deep prints to get to them. They are not easily visible from the road.
