Falcon Ridge 1 week agoFrom Al Stewart on Sunday evening:
I classic skied the High Lake trail on Sat and Sun this weekend. The trails were beautifully groomed for both classic and skate. Mid winter snow conditions and cold temps in the mornings but bright blue sky and mild in the afternoon. Next weekend should be great as well given the snow depth. -

Hi Caroline, I sent a request to the administrator to add the QR code to our page. I tried to add it to my profile but the pictures don’t seem to work well on this site.
We will be in touch with the city to forecast damage to the trails for next season. We can fix them up easily with our equipment.

Agassiz Provincial Forest 1 week, 1 day agoFrom Karen Nilsson, President of the Lac du Bonnet Cross Country Ski Club, on Saturday morning:
As of Friday, the Agassiz Provincial Forest trails were still in quite good condition. The light dusting of snow that morning covered the pine needles. It’s been a good season! -

Birds Hill Provincial Park 1 week, 2 days agoI was at BHP Fri. 3:30-4:30. You may be bucking a 40-60 km headwind heading up the hill to the tower but the skiff of fresh snow has covered a lot of the debris. Some new stuff coming down but a net reduction in debris. There’s about 1 cm of new snow in the tracks with a little more in open areas.

Bourkevale Community Centre 1 week, 4 days agoGroomed. Starting to see slush west of the AssPark foot bridge. Today is the last time grooming will take place west of the foot bridge this season. Conditions are beautiful. Double trackset and pretty wide skate lane. Get out and boost yer immunities!

Wildwood Community Centre 1 week, 4 days agoWildwood suffered a little from the wind, but is still good as of Wednesday evening. Some drifting in open areas, and a good bit of leaves, but classic was good and skate looked good as well.
