Manitoba Loppet – Postponed to February 16th
The Manitoba Loppet Organizing Committee met this morning and based on current forecasts have decided to postpone our event. Air temperature is looking OK, but if wind speeds reach predicted levels it will create unsafe racing and driving conditions and we do not want to risk anyone's safety just for the sake of staying on schedule. UPDATE (Jan 17, 2019): Due to very cold temperatures in the forecast for Saturday, THE 43rd MANITOBA LOPPET / MB Cup #2 IS BEING POSTPONED UNTIL SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd. The race day schedule and course should stay the same for the 3rd, but there will no longer be the option for a banquet afterwards.
